I just discovered this lovely label via UO blog the other day, and Just had to share it.

WeWood make their watches only from natural wood, and their watches are completely absent of artificial and toxic materials. And to make the whole thing even better, for each watch bought, WeWood plants a tree! Shopping for pretty accesories AND halping the enviroment? How awesome is that!

Plus, arn't they super pretty?

So while I'm stuck here in Tel Aviv, where for some unknown reason the fall refuses to show up, my parents are heading to windy Chicago for a few days. so of course I made for them a tiny shopping list with some hope that by the time they'll get back home the weather will cool down.

After New York fashion week, I just can't get enough of sheer fabrics!

It was just a few days ago that I wrote about how I loved the way Ann Demeulemeester used feathers in her Winter collection, and I just discovered this amazing jewelry collection by an Israeli designer named Shelly Limor and her label is called O-Shan.

Shelly Limor created a whole line of feather themed jewelry.

Needless to say that I fell for it the minute I layed eyes on the pieces she has created.

There's something about these pieces that is versatile and timeless, both elegant and rocknroll at the same time, which I know sounds like an impossible combination, but that's what they made me feel.

I guess the feather thing is a beggining of a new obssesion, and it's pieces like these that justify it!

I know that right now fur is all the rage, but I find feathers much more estetically appealing.
Don't get me wrong, fur can look amazing (only faux fur for me, please) but there is something magical and misterious about feathers.
Ann demeulemeester incooporated feathers in her AW 2010-2011 collection in a way that laft me dazzeled.

UNITED NUDE

The heat is literally unbearable. It's 34c (93 Fahrenheit) and on top of it there's like a gazillion percent humidity, so being outside is out of the question. Never the less, me and my mom had to go for some present shopping for my cousins that we're about to visit on Saturday, so without any much choice we headed towards the mall. Even though it was crazy crowded and noisy, I was able to spot these jaw-dropping gorgeous pair of heels that got me staring all googally-eyed at the window. Unfortunately I was without my camera so I snapped a couple of photos real quick on my cellphone just so I'll remember the label and the model of the shoe and look it up on the internet, and this is how I got to know the label United Nude.

The shoes made such an impression on me, that I'll just let the photos speak for them selves...

This is the one I saw at the window. I just love everything about it - the heel, the pink snake skin, the straps - it's perfect!

So in the past couple of months I've been on a complete shopping rampage. I don't what made me splurge like I did. Maybe it's all of these beautiful pastel colors that I just couldn't resist, maybe it's all those laces and crochet fabrics I see every where. This way or another, it seems as if this summer brought with it some great fashion that seems to suit the mood I'm in so perfectly I just can't help myself from refreshing my wardrobe and inevitably shrinking down my wallet.

Since there are a lot of photos of lots of items I decided to spread them on a couple of posts, here's a look at just a few of the items I got .

Mint-green wedges from Topshop.
I'm not really a heels kind of girl, I usually run around in all shapes and colors ballet flats even though I'm a shrimp, but the minute I saw this i just couldn't resist! Mint-green is my favorite color right now right next to nude, and I immediately fell for lace up kind of open but still kind of closed cut of them. And I have to admit that even though they are pretty high, they are super comfortable! Honest!

The color of this dress is much lighter in person. This one is also from Topshop, from the Kate Moss collection. This one was actually a birthday present from my grandmother, which makes it even better!

Ok, it's true that I've been home for four days now, but having a jet-leg to get over I was so un focused and tired all the time that posting anything was out of the question.

Our tour in California was amazing and I had the best time ever with lots of concerts, meeting new people, visiting some family, seeing new places, eating some great food and of course - shopping!

I won't post any of my purchases now, since I haven't even took their pictures yet, but I will tell you guys that despite the wishlist I made, I didn't come home with any of the items I had put there. Never the less, I made some really good purchases (especially at Urban Outfitters, which unfortunately we don't have here in Israel) and some vintage buys as well, and I just adore them all!

California Wishlist

So Tonight I'm leaving for a week to California for a little concert tour with the band. It's going to be San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, all in one week, and I have a feeling that it's going to be an amazing one!
I have this little habit every time before I go abroad, I like to check out what's in stores over at my destination and fantasize-shopping in online stores, just so I could get a general direction of what I want to come back home with or what to look for.
When It comes to trips to the US, The first site I check is always Anthropologie, which is one of my favorites. As you can see I already have a little wishlist that I hope to get back with at least some of it, Especially that blue sailor-ish blouse and that red skirt, I think they would look so good together!
Ofcourse I did a little research on Thrift stores and vintage boutiques too, and I am fully prepared mentally, fiscally and economically (I've been saving my pennies for this one) to go on a total splurge! So expect some photos of my purchases somewhere next week.

Roni Kantor Summer/Spring 2010

Roni Kantor is one of my favorite Israeli designers. Every year she takes off on a plane to somewhere, rummage through the flea markets and local thrift stores in search for pretty vintage items, takes them back home and alternate them, giving them her own special interpretation and still managing to keep each and every dress's own unique feel. The fact that all of the designs are alternated vintage dresses assures that each piece is a one of a kind, which makes it even more appealing in my opinion.

The Summer/Spring lookbook sure looks promising, and I just got an Email invitation to the Spring/Summer collection lunch sale, but with the trip to Los Angeles and San Francisco in less just four days away, I promised myself no shopping until I'll get back home. I guess I'll just have to be patient!

And it looks like I not the only one obsessed with them, it seems as if they're everywhere these days, and rightfully so! They are just perfect for wearing with a pretty little dress on a spring day for a casual and girly look.

I'm not really sure what to team up with my newly bought pair of navy-white stripe espadrilles from H&M, except a plain white or navy sundress, but that's kind of too obvious in my opinion, so I'm asking you guys for help!

Berlin Purchases

Just got back from a week in Berlin with the family. The idea for a vacation was completely spontaneous, which made the whole thing ever more fun. So besides of museums and city tours, I also went on a little splurge, and with spring knocking on the door it was all about light colors, floral prints, easy-breezy fabrics, frills and vintage looking feminine dresses
